My writings reflect my journey. The journey is an exploration of the nature of my being — a discovery of who I am in truth. I do not write to be heard; I write to remember — to gather the threads of where I’ve been and illuminate them back as a path through the dark, a map to the heart. These words are for connection. Each one is a footprint on the path back to myself — and perhaps, if you find something here, a path back to yourself, too. Woven into these pages are the qualities that have shaped me: presence, reflection, the willingness to fall apart and be remade, a burning love that aches to serve, and a fierce devotion to inner truth — even when it hurts. These pages are a pause — the breath between memories — where the practice of holding the mirror steady, in the spaces between words, allows the soul to come back into view. For those who have walked beside me — knowingly or not — through darkness and into dawn. For my children, Deanna and Justin, whose laughter still echoes through every page. For all who are learning, as I am, that love is the way home. As I’ve grown, so has this space. It carries not only the heart of my journey, but also the craft I’ve been cultivating through study and practice — the art of persuasion that unites logos, ethos, pathos, and kairos. These writings are both an act of service and an exercise in awareness, blending feeling, thought, timing, and integrity into a living dialogue with life itself. May these words serve as footprints for whoever finds them. May they remind us that grace hides in the smallest steps, and that even after the fiercest storms, the path — somehow — is still leading us home.

And lastly, a favorite of mine:

On Love - by Kahlil Gibran

“For even as love crowns you,
so shall it crucify you.
Even as love is for your growth,
so is it for your pruning.
Even as love ascends to your height
and caresses your tenderest branches…
that quiver in the sun,
so shall it descend to your roots,
and shake them in their clinging to the earth.”

From lessons I’ve learned through storms, I see love as most often what shakes me to the core. It challenges me to face my vulnerabilities, to dig deep into the foundation of my being, and to rise time and again, stronger and more connected to myself and to others.

Kahlil's poem reminds me of something I want to share with you, Deanna and Justin... that love, whether it is the love I feel for you, the love you find in your own lives, or the love you give to yourselves, is a force that shapes us all. It calls us to be courageous in embracing both its beauty and its pain, because through both, we grow into who we are meant to be.

Shared with my Love,
